VERITAS EQUISENTIENT FACILITATION METHOD™

A Professional Approach to Presence, Regulation, and Relational Awareness

For equine professionals, educators, clinicians, and leaders seeking to deepen the impact of their work.

WHAT THIS IS

Most equine-assisted work focuses on what to do.

The EquiSentient Method™ focuses on how you are while doing it.

Developed through decades of horsemanship, education, and professional practice, this method teaches you to:

  • Regulate before intervening
  • Observe before interpreting
  • Reduce unnecessary pressure
  • Track nervous system shifts
  • Adjust yourself before adjusting others

This is not about adding techniques.

It is about refining awareness.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

In every session, three systems are always present:

  • The human
  • The horse
  • The professional

Each influences the other.

We call this the Relational Field .

Most professionals focus on managing the horse or guiding the participant.

The EquiSentient Practitioner™ learns to recognize and influence the field itself.

THE ROLE OF THE PROFESSIONAL

In the EquiSentient Method™, the professional is not separate from the experience.

Tone, breath, pacing, posture, and internal state influence the relational field continuously.

The professional is an active regulatory influence within the relational field.

Before changing the moment, we learn to recognize how we are contributing to it.

REGULATION AS A PROFESSIONAL SKILL

Regulation is often treated as a personal wellness concept.

In this method, it is a professional competency.

Regulation transmits regulation.
Dysregulation transmits dysregulation.

Facilitators are trained to recognize their internal state in real time and adjust accordingly.

This includes the use of evidence-informed strategies such as:

  • Breath-based regulation
  • Awareness of physiological shifts
  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV)–informed practices

These are not separate techniques.

They are integrated into how the professional shows up in every moment.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
